Contest Rules and Regulations: Round 1

How to Enter:

Participants must have an Instagram account.

Participants must follow SPACES® Instagram page.

Participant needs to share the following details during the submission of the entry:

  • Images of home styling done by the participant as entry for the contest

  • Name

  • Age

  • Email id

  • Instagram handle

The participants need to share their entries on their own social pages to increase their chances of winning.

Contest Rules:

The duration of the contest is from 11th Sept to 15th Oct 2022.

The brand reserves the right to extend or change this time frame.

When entries are received after the deadline, it is up to the brand to admit them to the contest.

Only three winners will be announced at the end of the contest.

The results will be announced through a post on Facebook & Instagram at the end of the contest & updated on the website.

The winner will be announced basis a cumulative score from Judges' Scores + Votes on the Microsite + Social Engagement.

Contest Rules and Regulations: Round 2

Contest Mechanism:

Interested participants are expected to follow SPACES India on Instagram, and DM a heart emoji to SPACES India on Instagram and Facebook before the contest begins.

To officially enter the contest, all participants must upload their entries and other details on the website - cso.spaces.in

After all the entries have been received, SPACES® judges will shortlist & select the top 30 using their expertise in the category & realm of design.

After all the entries have been reviewed, the best 30 entries will be announced on the brand’s digital assets. The shortlisted participants will be informed via email if the brand deems it necessary.

The top 30 participants are expected to create a profile on the contest microsite at cso.spaces.in. Once the account is activated, the participant will be able to access the content shared on the website.

After the top 30 have created their profiles on the CSO website, the second phase of the contest will be activated.

Participants will have to tap on the mystery box to unveil the #SMARTSPACES theme for their entry into the final round. The theme cannot be changed by participants, and they must only execute the one assigned to them to be eligible for the title.

Once the theme has been assigned, coupon codes will be shared with the top 30 participants on the microsite which can be redeemed on www.spaces.in

Terms for SPACES® coupons:

Top 30 contestants will receive a coupon code for [Spaces credits] worth Rs. 12,000 and [Spaces Drapestory credits] worth Rs. 7,000. The coupon code [Spaces credits] will be worth Rs 12,000. The top 30 finalists must use these to purchase SPACES® products from www.spaces.in. & Rs.7,000 from Spaces Drape Story - https://drapestory.com/

All the products purchased from SPACES® & Spaces Drapestory by the Top 30 finalists will have to be used in the final task as the main product. The top 30 finalists can use other home linen products for layering and decorating, but the main product focus will have to be SPACES® merchandise.

After the order has been placed using SPACES credits, the brand will take about 7-10 days for delivery of the products. In case of any pin code being unserviceable due to government regulation.

Round 2 Design Look Rules

  • Each Top 30 finalist will create two looks for the final task along with a video (up to 90 seconds) showing the creation process to viewers and judges.

  • The first design will be a ‘Bedroom Look’ and the second one will be a ‘Cosy Corner Look’.

  • The design looks will have to be created according to the ONE assigned #SMARTSPACES theme and a selected decor look.

  • The two #SMARTSPACES themes are as follows: (ONLY ONE)

    • Style Theme A: Sustainable + Technology-Led

    • Style Theme B: Innovative + Mindful

  • The three decor themes are as follows: (ONLY ONE)

    • Bohemian Beauty

    • Retro Kitschy

    • Simply Minimal

  • Participants will need to incorporate BOTH of the above themes into their design looks.

  • As part of the first look, the Top 30 contestants will be required to use SPACES bed linen products. In addition, partner brand products can be used, but there is no mandate.

  • In the second look, products can be used at participants' discretion.

  • The images submitted as a part of the entry must showcase the products used.

  • A small write-up must be included describing the participants’ #SMARTSPACES interpretation of the theme in their theme.

  • The participants will be informed the final date of submission for the final round on the website – cso.spaces.in

Judging Criteria

After the final look has been submitted on the microsite, the judges panel will review all the entries and share scores basis following judging parameters -

  • Aesthetics: Use of the decor theme + Colour combination, textural palette, prints & patterns of both looks.

  • Planning: Interpretation of the assigned #SMARTSPACES theme in both looks.

  • Presentation & Lighting: Use of natural / artificial light & camera angles + composition.

Apart from the judges score, the users are expected to share their entries on social media. The engagement [likes] their posts receive will be considered as a part of the final score

The brand will also activate online voting on the microsite cso.spaces.in for this round, the number of votes a particular entry gets will be calculated in the final score as well.

The weightage allocated for each of these aspects are as follows:

  • Social engagement: 15%

  • Judges score: 40%

  • Online Voting: 45%

The final entries will be evaluated basis a composite scoring across Bedroom look and the Cozy Corner look – focus on Bed linen, soft furnishing and flooring

The decision of the Brand & the Judges shall be final and binding and cannot be challenged by any of the participants.

Eligibility:

Competition is open to all India residents aged 18 or over.

Contest participation is entirely voluntary.

No purchase is necessary for participating in the contest. The contest is open to anyone including those who have never purchased SPACES® or Welspun Flooring Ltd products in the past.

SPACES® & Welspun Flooring Ltd ("Company") shall not charge any amount for participation in the contest and the sole criteria for participation shall be submitting entries in the manner stipulated above.

The top 3 winners/finalists to choose the design of bed & bath products from SPACES® + Click-N-Lock® tiles from Welspun Flooring website.

Product selected may not necessarily be provided to the winner/finalist, product is subject to availability and at Company’s discretion.

The winner/finalist is not to contact any 3rd party dealer or retailer for SPACES® or Welspun Flooring to avail the material.

The winner/finalists will be assigned a single point of contact from SPACES® or Welspun Flooring Ltd & GoodHomes India who will be handling the details (delivery, installation, coordination etc.). The winner/finalist is to strictly connect with the single point of contact only.

The valuation of 1, 50,000/- INR cannot be exchanged with any other Welspun Retail product (bedsheet, towels etc.) and is to be for Welspun Flooring’s Click-N-Lock® Tiles only

Existing employees of Company & its affiliate organizations (any other Welspun Group company) related to the contest and their families are excluded from entering the Competition.

For the Top 1 winners who will be eligible to avail free Welspun flooring Click-N-Lock® worth up to Rs. 1,50,000/- each (including company installation charges) in their homes, The installation space is to be in one residential unit only and not spread out over multiple units.

For avoidance of doubt, the products of the Welspun displayed during/used for participation in the contest shall not necessarily be provided to the winner. It is subject to the availability and Welspun’s discretion.

To Claim the Prize:

  • The winner needs to submit all the details as per the requirements of SPACES® within the period of 10 days in order to claim the Prize.

  • The winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram and or Facebook or if the Company deems fit via email.

  • Welspun Flooring Ltd will endeavour to contact the Winner in 15 working days after announcing the winners.

Please note that these Terms and Conditions are in addition to the Terms and Conditions of Welspun Group, in case of any conflict the Terms and Conditions of Welspun Group shall prevail.

General Terms and Conditions:

  • The participants represent and warrant that the content and images produced and submitted during and after the contest will not infringe upon or misappropriate any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, plagiarism or other intellectual property right or proprietary right or right of publicity or privacy of any person. Participants agree to indemnify and (to the maximum extent permitted by law) hold Welspun and any of its affiliates harmless against any damages or liability you may suffer as a result of breach such third party intellectual property right or proprietary right or right of publicity or privacy of any person .

  • The promotion and contest does not amount to an offer or promise and thus the acceptance of it does not constitute any binding contract.

  • By participation, the participant consents to the terms of use of website and privacy policy of the company.

  • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram or any other social media platform or website where the participant wishes to publicise their entries. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to Sponsor, not Facebook or Instagram or said platforms.

  • Incomplete information provided or failure to provide true and accurate information as stated in these terms and conditions, and/or original confirmation number upon collection of the Prize will automatically disqualify the participant.

  • Welspun, is the owner of the brand SPACES®, and shall have the absolute and sole discretion to determine whether any participant should be disqualified by reason of failure to abide by these terms and conditions, bad faith, fraud or any other legitimate reason determined by Welspun.

  • Welspun reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this contest, including extending, withdrawing or discontinuing the same without notice, without assigning any reason, at its sole discretion without any liability.

  • There is no alternative to the stated prizes, and the prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Welspun reserves the right to substitute either any part of Prize or whole Prize for similar prize of equal or greater value.

  • The limited and permitted usage of SPACES® trademark, trade name, trade dress, copyright and other intellectual property rights of Welspun for this competition shall not create any assignment, transfer, license nor vest any rights upon the participants. Further, if the participant wishes to use any SPACES® related intellectual property, the participant shall at all times do so as per theses terms as stated below:

  • Any intellectual property created in the process of this contest by any of the participants, shall be deemed to be assigned to Welspun immediately and will be used by Welspun on their social media handles, website, or any other platform the brand deems fit.

  • Welspun shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any claims, losses, damage, costs or expenses in connection with or arising from this Competition, the redemption or use of the Prizes.
